Abstract

      Abstract; The purpose of research is to obtain data comprehensively about how inclusive education for student with mental retardation can be conducted. There are seven research focus that be studed i.e. curriculum, learning goal, learning material, teaching plan, teaching management,  media and resource of learning and evaluation. Research be conducted by qualitative approach in one inclusive primary school in Bogor. Data be collected by depth interview and observation and document analysis. Result of study indicated that student with mental retardation can be educated together with normal student in regular school (class room). There are three condition that support the implementation of inclusive education for student with mental retardation. First, available government policy that support school for conducting inclusive education. Second, available positive attitude and behavior from school society toward inclusive education. Third, there are readiness technically from school to implement inclusive education. Modification is the importance key in implementing inclusive education. Research found that teachers do modification to amount component of learning in order to match with  capability of student with mental retardation, i.e curriculum, learning proses and evaluation.

Abstract

  Abstract; The research purpose is to develop study model of science contextual through guided inquiry strategy in the level of II and to improve the concept understanding and life-skills for student at 5 degree in elementary school with the extended society learn. This research is a development research (Research and Development). Four study model science of contextual is developed cover: 1) guided inquiry strategy in the level II and extended society learn; 2) guided inquiry strategy in the level of II and limited society learn; 3) guided inquiry strategy in the level I and extended society learn; and 4) guided inquiry strategy in the level I and limited society learn. The validation result of study scenario and LKS by teacher and expert including into good criterion (suitable used with a bit revision). Observation result to the study scenario implementation was show that 80% of the activity step can be executed excellently. Student comments to model implementation that developed is student feels: 1) a challenge to do the activity 2) do not easy to give up in replying question; and 3) learn with pleasantness. The result of test-drive is shown that the completeness of learn student in classically experience equal to 28% and the student life-skills improvement equal to 17,66 %.

Abstract

  Abstract:The aim of this study was to develop social-skill training for senior high school students using strategy-development model by Borg and Gall (1983). The development was intended to result in a social-skill training package which could effectively be used by counsellor in developing student’s social skill. The development underwent three stagesof need assessment, training-package development, and evaluation. The package was found to be acceptable in terms of its utility, feasibility, and accuracy in developing student’s social skills. It could thus be used as training material.

Abstract

  Abstract: Main purpose of this research was to indentify factors influencing science literacy of 15-years-olds students. The subjects of the research were 5330 students enrolled in SMP, 926 students in MTs, 2638 students in SMA, 240 students in MA, and 1513 students in SMK. The main focus of PISA 2006 was science. The PISA 2006 survey also sought information on students’ attitudes to science. Each participating student spent two hours carrying out pencil-and-paper tasks. Students also answered a questionnaire that took about 30 minutes to complete and focused on their personal background, their learning habits and their attitudes to science, as well as on their engagement and motivation. There were 15 indicators extracted from the questionnaire and 5 plausible scores from PISA science assessment. Students’ responses from the questionnaire and assessment were tested using Structural Equation Modeling. Variables latent confirmed were students’ background, students’ attitudes to science, learning/teaching strategies, useful for science career, time for learning science, and science performance. Students’ science literacy is influenced by students’ attitudes to science and their background. Science literacy correlated negatively with  problem based learning, using phenomena to illustrate science topics, and lab enquiry. However, science literacy correlated positively with peer teaching and modeling strategies.

Abstract

Abstract, Based on the new  curriculum (KTSP) in Indonesia, each level of education has two hours SKS of LCC subject in each semester. The Local Content Curriculum (LCC) is a creative idea that sprang out of the desire to preserve and develop local cultures. That is, to develop basic skills, life skills, prevocational and income-producing skills, as well as to make the students aware of environmental and other community concerns. The main objective of this research is to describe the impelementations of  Local Content  education in terms of skills orientation  at Junior Secondary School in Lampung province. This research  focused on: (1) The distribution of district, (2) the  subject  matters of  local content  education,  (3) the teacher’s availability, (4),  student’s interest,   and   (5) the facilitation that contribute the  program. This research used descriptive method.  Collecting data  used questionnaire that  disseminated   to 36  Junior  Secondary Schools. Based on the above focuses we could surmise that (1) The  programs  was distributed  in some  district, (2) Local content education consisted of  various skills subject matters, (3) Teachers were  availabel, (4) Most  of  students  interested  follow the  programs, (5) the  facilitation  was  enough to contribute the  program.

Abstract

  Abstract : In the religion (Islam) concept, children in the early age/kindergarten should have been trained to develop the positive aspect in order in the mature age are used to do the positive things and finally shaped the good personality. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the applied method by teachers of Anak Shaleh Education Kindergarten (TAPAS) in development of religious values on their pupil and also concrete examples. Data collection was done through observation and interview, the being critically analyzed, lending the Arief Furqans term is reflective thinking. The research result is the TAPAS teachers denoted the variation method in developing the religious valued to the students and also give the concrete examples, although there are something in the child development psychology review was less appropriate done, such as the teachers often give material to be memorized for example, short letters, prayers, even include in the material of exams.

Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays information and communication technology has been used in education, including in the assessment. The purpose of this study was to discover and explain the fundamental lessons learned from the beginning stages of e-Portfolio implementation as part of assessments on Science Education for prospective elementary school teachers. Subject of this research were students of S1 PGSD, amounted to 40 people. e-Portfolio assessment system utilized the site as a popular blog where students can upload his artifacts and to watch and assess peers’ artifacts. At the end of the semester students got questionnaire about four learning outcomes through the e-Portfolio: increasing of information and communication technology skills, self-confidence, self-reflection, and willingness to grow. After the implementation of e-Portfolio assessment during one semester, the students stated more confidence to take advantage and improve the skills of information technology. This study also showed, through e-Portfolio assessment, almost all students wished to continue to grow in the form of showing his artifacts. However, students did not make the self-reflection yet, which is one of the key ability to develop himself.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to induce students’thinking ability by an intervention strategy through sains learning. As long as four months, fifty four students of SDN Puhsarang I and Puhsarang II Kediri inducing their cognitive thinking through three matter, water, stone and earth respectively. Data is collected by using SCDT (science cognitive development test). The target is achieved after conducting two learning cycles refer to the action research method. The result shows that after the first cycle, there are only 35.19% students can operate concrete reasoning completely (C2) where by 64.18% students are still on the basic category of concrete reasoning. But, after the second cycle or four month intervention, the number of students who could operate concrete reasoning completely become 74.10% where by there are only 25.90% students are still on the basic level. These facts indicate that intervention period or four months is not enough to stimulate students’abstract reasoning in the transition periode. Learning activity must be paying more attention on students’reasoning and make an intervention systematicaly.

Abstract

Abstract, The research  is aimed to investigate the relationship between educational level, working experience, and age with work motivation and team work effectiveness of elementary school teachers, directly or indirectly. The population included teachers at elementary schools in Malang County. The sample, consisted of 438 teachers, was selected using proportional cluster random sampling. The research design was explanatory study in the form of causal modeling. The data, collected using questionnaire and documentation, were analysed by employing descriptive and structural equation modeling technique. The research found that there were structural  relationship between teachers educational level, working experience, and age with  their work motivation and team work effectiveness to do their professional tasks. .

Abstract

Abstrack: The purpose of this research is to describe the level of physical fitness of Indonesian children at the age of 07 to 13 years old. This research used quantitative approach by descriptive method. The subject in this research was gained from 31 provinces by sampling approach. The result of finding in this research are: 1) The purposes of educating the Physical education, sport, and health (Penjasorkes) has not become the objectives of teacher’s evaluation optimally, the objective of evaluation more tend to the result of study by the shape of sport skill and sport performance, 2) the average of children body weight is 33 kilograms, 3) the average of body height  is 136.4 centimetres, 4) the average of VO2Max was founded as much 29 ml/BW.Kg/min, included in the lack fitness category. In more complete sense, it found that the children who have category of very good physical fitness is 1%, good category is 3%, average category is 11%, lack category is 24% and very lack category is 61%. Thus, the physical fitness as the evaluation objectives and the standard of competence in the subjects (SK-MP) Penjasorkes appropriate to the Permendiknas No. 23 of 2006 has not been achieved.
